Staying at Ella Mount Heaven felt like waking up inside a dream. Every morning, I woke up to a view so surreal it almost didn’t feel real — layers of clouds drifting below, birds calling from the forest, and that peaceful stillness that only nature can offer. The infinity pool overlooking the valley is breathtaking — perfect for morning swims or watching the sunset melt over the mountains. The rooms are spacious and clean, with huge windows that open to the panoramic view — you literally fall asleep with the stars and wake up above the clouds. The staff were so warm, kind, and genuinely caring — always ready with a smile and delicious Sri Lankan breakfast (try the coconut roti!).
I recently stayed here and it was fantastic!The staff was super friendly,and the views from the balcony were amazing. The food was tasty too!It's clear the hotel has improved a lot since the management shift. Definietly worth a visit!

Ella Mount Heaven is one of those places that makes you forget time. The location is absolutely incredible — perched high in the hills with one of the best views in all of Ella. You can literally see the valley stretching endlessly, with clouds floating right past your balcony. It’s peaceful, quiet, and feels far away from the chaos of the town (which is only a short drive away).
